Responsibilities:
- Make Outbound Calls To reach merchants with $500,000 to $10 million in annual revenue, use the mailing lists provided by American Express.
- Participate in conference calls with business owners and decision makers, learn about their needs and recommend the right American Express business products.
- Maintain advanced product and service knowledge, clearly communicates relevant product features and benefits, and other elements of American Express small business products. Lead leads effectively.
- Continually strive to improve key sales skills, including building relationships, understanding customer needs, handling objections and closing the sale. Adhere to Blue Box Values, GCS Sales Practices and Standard Operating Procedure, American Express Management Behaviour. US SME and GCS Champion and Compliance.
Qualifications:
- Inside Sales Expert in making outside sales calls.
- Experience working in a cold environment is an advantage.
- Consistent experience in growing and maintaining business relationships.
- Experience in a highly regulated industry.
- Financial and business ability. Knowledge of different sales cycles and phases.
- Navigate multiple digital platforms and web-based tools.
- Active listening and consultative approach to customer discussions.
- Strong telephone skills and ability to tailor messages to multiple audiences at different levels.
