About the team:

Large organizations provide physical security and a stable environment with high-quality data centers. In addition to end users and the rest of their technology operations, organizations provide control centers, servers, storage, authentication, and DNS services to technology users. The Critical Facilities team has a dual role, managing the data center physical environment and its assets, and providing rest/repair services as directed by the platform and/or project team. location:

The Data Center Manager is the primary point of contact and is responsible for all data center services from major locations in New York and New Jersey. This role coordinates, coordinates or acts as the contact for the appropriate team to provide all critical services. Management of equipment, machinery, electrical, plumbing (MEP) and electrical life safety (FLS), physical security, operations and services (FOSD), logistics (shipping, acceptance and storage), electronic waste, media destruction and data center design. This position is responsible for understanding and recommending all aspects of maintenance and service for all areas of the data center, including managing company procedures for employee safety. This position is responsible for the availability of all members of the IT department by managing the installation process for network power, cooling, redundancy and diversity. Since this position is responsible for all aspects of budgeting, forecasting, financing and 10-year planning, you must possess and maintain strong business and financial skills.

What will you do:

• Nursery managers work with teams made up of key employees, customers and co-workers, and work independently. Activities include:
• Support to Enterprise Technology customer base and Enterprise Technology team
• Colocation services and service providers
• Financial Management – Annual work plan (budget), request for proposals, quotes, purchase orders, invoices, revenues and forecasts
• Perform monitoring, analysis and reporting
• Data management – ​​creation, maintenance and retirement of data policies, processes, procedures, tools
• Manage and perform 24x7x365 FOSD services (IT infrastructure and equipment installations, replacements, decommissioning, repairs and support incidents)
• Logistics management (delivery, reception and storage)
• Provide on-call support and one-hour onsite response to incident or support issues
