DESCRIPTION:

The  Transformation and Process Optimization (TPO) Managers primary role is to lead a team of continuous improvement (CI) experts responsible for delivering key initiatives aligned with United’s business plan in collaboration with cross-functional and cross-departmental leadership. TPO leaders benchmark and proactively implement best practices across the system. Provide leadership, guidance and training to all levels and functions on the use and practice of  CI methods and tools. Focus on performance and continuously strive to eliminate waste, improve customer satisfaction and reduce defects. Be considered partners with company leadership to select, report and prioritize CI initiatives.  Leads a team of CI experts responsible for implementing key operational initiatives in line with United’s business plan and collaborates with cross-site and cross-departmental operational management.

•  Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, Business Administration or
•  years of equivalent work experience
•  5-7 years of experience in full-time continuous development work
•  Experience in implementing large-scale and multifaceted process development
•  To be LSS Black Belt certified, a candidate must have completed  LSS Black Belt training and passed the LSS Black Belt exam and be in progress on at least one actual LSS Black Belt project required for certification.
•  Demonstrated leadership skills
•  Familiarity with the LSS toolkit
•  Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States  without sponsorship
