Full Job Description:

• We are looking for an experienced finance professional with sourcing experience to support our end-to-end finance procurement operations with a focus on partnering with one of the following areas.
•  The creative production department, which is made up of several teams, is in charge of developing promotional assets (video, artwork/print, and digital), our titles’ creative strategy, content theme analyses and tagging, as well as linguistic and cultural adaptation of Netflix content. Creative Production aims to create experiences that help users locate and connect with the stories they will enjoy both within our service and outside of it. This position reports to the Manager, Finance Procurement Operations in Los Gatos and will work a hybrid in-office schedule out of the company’s Los Angeles or Los Gatos offices.
•  The ideal candidate for this position will be able to drive operational process improvements, have the guts to challenge conventional wisdom, have a thorough understanding of accounting procedures related to content creation, be familiar with the P2P workflow, and have experience developing strong cross-functional relationships with business partners from various Creative and Product functions, FPandamp;A, Accounting, and IT teams.

 In this position, you will work alongside the aforementioned cross-functional partners.

•  Owners of businesses should finish all financial-related tasks (procurement support, contract review and renegotiation, vendor management, creation of purchase orders, auditing of invoices, expense reporting) and actively participate in various teams as an embedded partner.
•  Accounts Payable: When required, create POs and offer non-PO invoice coding to support prompt and accurate invoice processing and trustworthy financial reporting.
•  Accounting: Take charge of the accrual process and pinpoint the causes of discrepancies to guarantee a precise and on-time month-end close.
•  FP&A – Ensure accurate coding to produce meaningful reporting and identify opportunities to use data to guide business decisions.
•  IT should design simple, automated payment and financial workflows and work with system developers to advance system automation on a larger scale.

•  In order to coordinate the hiring of services from our vendors and find out the status and schedule of service delivery, we communicate with the creative and product teams.
•  Work closely with the company to support sourcing decisions and vendor alliances for scale, cost savings, and to guarantee a diverse and sustainably focused supply chain to keep up with the changing needs of our business.
•  Establishing purchase orders (POs) will guarantee accurate expense classification for financial reporting and analysis.
•  directing projects that help automate and simplify manual processes. Participate actively in the system’s feature development and user acceptance testing.
•  Managing vendors and the invoicing procedures includes keeping track of vendor records, ensuring prompt billing, approving invoices, and working with accounting to verify the accuracy of accrued services.

•  5+ years of pertinent experience in finance or accounting.
