DESCRIPTION:
Station overview
- Communicate consistent policy and procedural messages to support financial advisor, back office, investor and internal sales inquiries to ensure service excellence.
- Assist distribution partners in processing investment paperwork, ensuring everything is received in good order. This includes dealing with financial advisors, broker/dealers and other financial institutions.
- Performs advanced analysis to identify and resolve work processing problems while examining processes to improve work efficiency.
- Refine daily trades for potential trade errors that could result in a win/loss scenario or cancel chargebacks. Approve or prepare reporting for ad hoc management requests.
- Determine operational objectives by studying business operations and gathering information to evaluate and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve identified issues.

Qualification and experience
- We require a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or communications.
- At least 2 years of financial services experience, including transaction matching and related customer service functions. Understanding of the financial services, private equity or investment banking sector.
- Knowledge of financial business and arrangement processes of alternative investments or investment funds is considered an advantage.
- Experience with transfer agents and/or third party administrators.
