- The ideal person will have a thorough knowledge of the characterization of dielectric materials at the high frequencies required for circuit design and signal integrity calculations. Hands-on experience with measurement systems such as network analyzers, impedance analyzers, test equipment, and data extraction and analysis software.

Description
This position is within the newly formed Advanced Technology Group – Materials Engineering team and the individual will provide direct support to the Electrical Engineering, Product Design, Product Reliability and Manufacturing teams and lead materials testing for printed circuit boards and flexible printed circuit board insulators. Apple products. You will identify and develop requirements for dielectric properties and define test methods. You will build the capabilities of the laboratory to measure dielectric properties and supervise the installation of equipment, the execution of tests, the interpretation and review of test reports. You will coordinate with Cupertino’s electronic materials and product design teams to develop test methods, understand the relationship between materials and parts, and establish evaluation criteria. The successful candidate will be required to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities.
