DESCRIPTION:

 Customer experience

•  Engages customers and patients by greeting them and providing assistance with products and services.
• Resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience.

Activities

•  Registers customers’ purchases at the cash register designated for this purpose, takes cash and issues change upon request; handles cancellations, returns, rain checks, refunds and exchanges as needed.
• Recommends products for sale to the customer and recommends replacements and/or additional products. Assists with OTC products and takes the customer to the aisle when possible.
• Uses pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription. Promptly reports prescription errors to the on-call pharmacist  and follows the policies and procedures related to the Company’s Pharmacy Errors and  Quality Improvement Program.
• Keeps counters and shelves clean and very business-like, takes inventory and maintains records.
• Enters and evaluates merchandise as needed or as directed by the store manager or  shift manager. Implements company asset hedging procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
• Ensures compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products such as alcoholic beverages and tobacco products. Builds and maintains displays including advertising, seasonal, superstructures and  merchandise.
• Restores and updates as instructed. Own working knowledge of store systems and store layout.
• Assists in exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring a clean, neat, orderly  condition and appearance of the store.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with colleagues.
• Performs special tasks and other tasks in accordance with regulations.

Education and personal development

•  Attends trainings required by the manager or assigned by the company and grants PPL permits. Undergraduate degrees
•  Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. We expect a willingness to work flexibly even in the evenings and at weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

•  Six months of work experience in a retail environment is preferred.
