DESCRIPTION:

Our supplier agents provide hospitality to Southwest’s domestic and international customers in the supplier warehouse, aircraft and on the ramp. This role prepares the cabin for flight departure by stocking the aircraft with snacks and beverages, working with crew members to ensure quality in-flight service and working with ground operations teams to complete tasks at designated times. Tasks and responsibilities
Warehouse:
- Works in the warehouse, prepares goods for storage and, if necessary, uses a forklift and a pallet jack.
- Pack and repack liquor, beer, wine containers and replenish inventory with electronic equipment
- Load and store multiple ice packs to load into service trucks. Handles 30 or more ice packs per day per shift
- Prepares perishable goods for advance storage on the aircraft
- Checks flight information to plan snack flights. Collect consumed snacks for future flights
- Delivers and repacks entertainment kits and ensures aircraft are equipped with such kits.
- Keeps work area clean by mopping, mopping, wiping work surfaces and organizing inventory
- Keeps service truck clean and organized. Prepares to stock flights regularly by stocking vans with goods from the warehouse
Crawl area:
- Loading, unloading and maintenance Company aircraft. Transports company material (COMAT) to and from aircraft
- Performs work safely in accordance with company requirements, contracts and regulations
- Drive and operate the maintenance truck safely on the airport ramp
- Operates both indoors and outdoors near and between passenger terminals, aircraft, hangers, jets, warehouses and air cargo areas. Competent in operating all motorized ground equipment (including bags, golf carts, trolleys, pallet jacks and passenger vehicles) assigned by the Company to conduct aerial operations.
- Can be exposed to various weather conditions, sounds of heavy rains and machinery, dirt and dust for a long time
- Holds ice, drinks, soft drinks, packaged liquor, beer, wine, snacks, cups, paper products and other supplies in the aircraft galley.
- Equip the cabin interior with equipment and accessories for the flight, such as passenger amenities
- Empty bins, sweep kitchen areas, washroom floors, fill toilets and sweep/clean kitchen and toilets
- Cleans the interior of aircraft by hand sweeping and dusting, and uses special cleaning fluids and materials and mechanical cleaning equipment as required.
- Transports cabin, commissary and cleaning equipment between aircraft and warehouses
- The aircraft must be equipped within a predetermined time on the ground
General:
- Works as a light laborer outside the cities served by the airline
- Uses the company’s required visual identifier, which is prominently displayed for identification
- Respond to internal customer surveys
- Participates in initial and continuing education (classroom and on-the-job) and maintains current knowledge, information and equipment to qualify
- Duties may vary depending on the size and organization of the supply station
