  •  Monitor ticketing area to ensure  compliance with security policies and procedures
  •  Assist customers with check-in at self-service kiosks and baggage handling at the kiosk (e.g. printing boarding passes and receipts)
  •  Service and maintenance of kiosk machines (eg adding paper, cleaning surfaces)
  •  Troubleshoot kiosk technologies to identify the source of problems or errors
  •  Communicate with IT about kiosk technology issues that require additional maintenance
  •  Ensure that customers’ cargo packages meet FAA/American Airlines regulations (eg size, quantity)
  •  Check and specify travel documents (e.g. passports, visas) of customers traveling internationally (e.g. using the Timatic database at the kiosk)
  •  Assist customers in handling checked packages (eg completing a credit card transaction, self-encoding, checking weight)
  •  Queuing at ticket offices according to departure times or the type of assistance required (e.g. special assistance, reduction of the number of queues or waiting time)
  •  Acceptance and activation of self-labeled packages from customers at the activation station
  •  Physically move baggage in the ticket  area (eg move checked baggage to the zone, move oversized baggage to the designated oversized baggage area)
  •  Assist customers with the inspection of assistive devices, sports equipment and other oversized items (e.g. ensure compliance with relevant regulations)
  •  Refer customers to customer service if necessary
  •  Explanation and inspection of documents at kiosks
  •  Assist non-mobile customers with their physical movement when boarding, disembarking or otherwise moving through the gate and the larger terminal area.
  •  Assisting unaccompanied minors in boarding, disembarking or other transportation
  •  Providing  gate information and directions to customers
  •  Implement retrieval functions (e.g. report forgotten items,  return customers’ locked bags) (in some airports)
  •  It is possible to perform additional tasks that the management deems functionally necessary in accordance with the collective  agreement
  •  Report to your position on time, on schedule and at your assigned station or location, including mandatory overtime requirements, variable shift, weekends and holidays. Complete on-the-job training
  •  Comply with government regulations (eg DOT, FAA, TSA)
  •  Adhere to company policies, procedures and performance standards
  •  Wear uniform as per company policy
