The Engineering and Design role means you join a team of engineers and designers who create products with Target’s own branding in mind. As an Animal Design Specialist, you will support the product design and development process under the guidance of project managers to achieve all vendor design and product development goals. It requires dedication to work and maintaining timely communication with project partners. Promote product, brand and guest research to ensure Product Target meets or exceeds the perceived value/performance of competing products. You will work with cross-functional partners, suppliers and leaders to understand and support the development of quality processes, consistent performance and product quality. We also perform periodic testing and ensure that all approved products meet specific requirements and Target standards. You will also contribute to production and the timely resolution of production and quality issues.

About You:
- 4-year degree or equivalent in design, textiles or other business
- At least 1 year of experience in another field
- Understand the production of textiles, raw materials and products
- Computer design technology, including Adobe programs
- Ability to absorb feedback
- Ability to work effectively in a diverse team
